Much like an election of candidates to political office, the “early returns” can many times predict the outcome and final results.  Whether the M&A market began to slow down in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2008 can be debated, but valuation trends can now be reported with a growing degree of accuracy.  Business owners are looking for “real time” information as to what their business enterprise is worth in today’s market.  This program will provide current statistical evidence about changes in multiples being realized and the changes being seen in equity injections by acquirers.  The program will also address issues encountered when trying to determine the true value of a company.  Techniques will be demonstrated can be used to properly structure deals to enhance the final result of the transaction.
